RULE BOOK DISCLAIMER

THE RULES AND/OR REGULATIONS SET FORTH HEREIN ARE DESIGNED TO PROVIDE FOR THE ORDERLY CONDUCT OF RACING EVENTS AND TO ESTABLISH MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCH EVENTS. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFTEY SHALL RESULT FROM PUBLICATIONS OF OR COMPLIANCE WITH THESE RULES AND/OR REGULATIONS.

THEY ARE INTENDED AS A GUIDE FOR THE CONDUCT OF THE SPORT AND ARE IN NO WAY A GUARANTEE AGAINST INJURY OR DEATH TO A PARTICIPANT, SPECTATOR, OR OFFICIAL.

THE RACE DIRECTOR SHALL BE EMPOWERED TO PERMIT REASONABLE AND APPROPRIATE DEVIATION FROM ANY OF THE SPECIFICATIONS HEREIN OR IMPOSE ANY FURTHER RESTRICTIONS THAT IN HIS OPINION DO NOT ALTER THE MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE REQUIREMENTS.

NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFTEY SHALL RESULT FROM SUCH ALTERATION OF SPECIFICATIONS. ANY INTERPRETATION OR DEVIATION OF THESE RULES IS LEFT TO THE DISCRETION OF THE OFFICIALS. THEIR DECISION IS FINAL.

2008 CRUSIER CAR REQUIREMENTS
IF IT DOESN’T SAY YOU CAN, YOU CAN’T!

1. Any 6 or 8 cylinder car is acceptable providing it meets safety requirements.
2. No convertibles, trucks, or station wagons permitted or 4 wheel drives allowed.
3. All glass must be removed and replaced with screen.
4. No high performance or race parts permitted. Only racing seat and belts may be of performance parts.
5. All doors must be welded, chained, or bolted shut.
6. No modifications to body, suspension, or engine. Fender wells may be trimmed for tire clearance. Inner fender wells must remain in place in the rear only! Head and tail lights must be removed. No third brake lights. Must have bumpers, small nurf bar allowed. No mirrors.
7. All cars must have number on both doors and on the top (18" or larger) and must be very visible.
8.  locked rear ends and positive track rear ends. Are Allowed.
9. 60 or 70 or 75 Series tires allowed. All tires must be steel-belted radials and same size on all four wheels (no stagger) and must be all 14" or all 15". No trick tires or made for racing tires. No Dot Hoosier or Mcrearys (no grooving of tires).
10. 7" rim maximum. Racing wheels allowed, mandatory on right side (1" lug nuts on all wheels). No aluminum wheels allowed. Sway bar optional (no adjusting).
11. Tow chain on front and back of car is mandatory.
12. K&N replacement filters are allowed.
13. All cruisers will be inspected by officials.
14. Shock must be in stock location. No racing shocks. No Heim shocks. No racing springs.
15. Bead locks optional. No spoilers!!
16. Any production radiator permitted can use aluminum radiator.
17. If you run an electric fan, it must be stock one only.
18. Quick steer box allowed.
19. Power Steering Optional.

Transmission: Any Automatic OEM Transmission with stock size Torque Converter 11inch Min.

No Manual Transmissions Allowed!!!

Engine Rules
(361 CID RULE)
1. THE ENGINE MUST BE STRICTLY STOCK FOR THAT MAKE AND MODEL OF CAR AND IN ITS ORIGINAL MOUNT POSITION. NO SB 400s!
2. FACTORY QUADRA JET ALUMINUM INTAKES ALLOWED. NO AFTER MARKET ALUMINUM INTAKES ALLOWED. NO ALUMINUM HEADS. NO BOW TIES.
3. 300 LIFT AT BASE OF CAM. MUST RUN 1.5 . (EXAMPLE: 1.5 = 450 LIFT) Must pull 14 inches of vacuum after race at 1000 RPM. Stock Valve Spring diameters only!
4. NO PORTING OR GRINDING OF ANY KIND ON HEADS, INTAKE, OR EXHAUST.
5. NO AFTERMARKET RACING PARTS.
6. BASICALLY: DON’T DO ANYTHING TO THE MOTOR. 1.94-1.50 VALVES MAXIMUM ONLY FOR CHEVROLET-1.780-1.450 FOR FORDS. Stock Diameter Valve Springs Only!!
7. NO STROKING OF MOTORS. No special stroking.
8. ALL FACTORY HEADS 72CC and up. No angle milled heads! Heads must cc at 72 cc or larger!! 305 HEADS ALLOWED
9. PUMPING AND TEAR DOWN IF NECESSARY!!
10. MAY RUN DISH OR FLAT TOP 4 Valve Relief PISTONS ONLY!! MAXIMUM BORE .060.
11. No Holley carburetors allowed. Quadra jet only.
12. V8s no fuel injectors, no throttle body and no vortex heads.
13. No light weight cranks allowed. Stock cranks only!!
14. No screw in studs or guide plates.
15. No Center Dump Manifolds
16. After market reduction V Belt pulleys allowed

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
1. All drivers and riders must wear helmets, seat belts, long sleeve shirts, and long pants.
2. Made for racing window nets must be placed on both sides. This is mandatory!
3. Must have screen in place of windshield.
4. All cars must have a working fire extinguisher in car.
5. Rear seat, headliner, and carpet must be removed.
6. Fuel cell or gas tank or boat tank must be strapped into the trunk area. Fuel line must exit from top of tank.
7. Car must have fire wall between gas tank and driver compartment.
8. Riders!! Hospital Insurance is mandatory for any rider under the age of 18 years old. Must have door plates or door bars on both sides. No exceptions.

ROLL BAR & ROLL CAGE INSTALLATION
1. Must be built from steel tubing (NO PIPE OF ANY KIND) 1 3/4 O.D. X .095" wall thickness. All tubing must be mandrel bent and welded with arc mig or tig. Full, four post roll cage with at least one horizontal bar behind driver, from left to right, in the main roll bar, a diagonal brace from top to bottom in the main roll bar, a minimum of three horizontal door bars in passenger side, two braces from top of main roll bar down to trunk floor (behind rear axle), a horizontal bar from left to right between front cage post, at dash height, and two braces or snout hoop forward from dash. You may run bars through the fire wall to brace and to protect radiators and fuel cells.
2. Door plates mandatory if you don't have door bars as stated above. (Plate size 1/4’ X 12") and must extend past front and center post.
Any other types of roll bars (Example 1 single roll bar) must be inspected and approved. Remember! This is for your safety!

Cruiser Protest & Engine Claim
Engine Claim Long Block only No Accessories

$1500.00 you must be on the lead lap to be eligible to claim and the money must be paid before you leave the track to the track official. Refusal of claim nets you no points or money for that night. Refusal twice and you must move up a class or sit out for the remainder of the season.

1.$250.00 cash tear down rule. Any driver is subject to protest by any other driver in the same division if said driver is on the lead lap. Protest must be within 5 minutes from the end of feature race. $250.00 cash must be paid to the technical inspector. Protest pertains to carburetor, intake, heads, exhaust, and top of piston stroke. The track will retain $50.00 of tear down fee. Winner of protest will receive $175.00 cash. If you refuse to tear down all points, money is lost for that night. The track will keep $50.00 regardless of the outcome. If you refuse tear down twice, you will be banned from racing in that class for 4 weeks

$500.00 for complete tear down. The winner of protest will receive $400.00 cash. If you refuse to tear down all points, money will be lost for that night. The track will keep $100.00 regardless of the outcome. If you refuse tear down twice, you will be banned from racing in that class for 4 weeks

POINTS
1. All points will go to the driver or designated team member. Team member must be named at the beginning of season. 1 team member per car. No substitutions.

INSPECTION
1. Refusal to permit inspection will result in immediate disqualification.
